Supreme Court Rules States Must Honor Gun Rights
I was shocked to see this come across my screen today, its not often that you hear or see good news like this and even rarer that anyone with any power or influence today actually takes a strong stand to PROTECT our liberties and rights.
Why do you think the 2nd Amendment (right to bear arms) is now being upheld while others like the 4th (right to privacy) are being completely decimated in our country today? What do you think the agenda is (there is ALWAYS an agenda in play, nothing happens by accident)?
Always remember, only slaves are disarmed and an armed society is a polite society. This is not a right/left issue, restricting law abiding citizens from the means to arm and protect themselves DOES NOT reduce crime! It only make it easier for criminals to thrive (Chicago and D.C. have had some of the highest murder rates, both places where guns have been banned). Criminals do not obey laws and they will always get access to weapons. Ask ANY honest PEACE OFFICER and they will tell you THEY CANNOT PROTECT YOU when you need it most! Every city/state that has supported open carry laws and/or concealed carry has seen a drop in crime while those areas who have tried to restrict the right to bear arms have seen their crime rates increase! Criminals and thugs prey on the weak NOT the strong. Strength is a deterrent, predators always go for the weak, lame and the sick.
What are you doing to protect yourself and prepare?
I live in central Illinois. Illinois has fairly strict gun laws. I lobby my state Senators and Representatives regularly for Concealed Carry legislation in Illinois. Our problem is Chicago machine politics and politicians who continuously ignore the legislation and try to propose more restrictions. At summer recess they left concealed carry bill and semi-auto firearm ban on the table – what a contradiction.
Though I have many friends who are police officers I understand clearly that police, in most cases show up at the scene of the crime to fill out the report. So, I am rated as Distinguished Expert with pistol, skilled with shotguns and have started competing in high power rifle competitions (ranges of 100 – 600 yards on open sights.) I am a certified firearms instructor in rifle and shotgun disciplines. My wife, two daughters and two sons (ages 17 – 23) are all skilled with various firearms as well.
We are also working VERY seriously on War on Debt. As we show results, we’re going to start taking it to neighbors and friends who are in bondage as well. In addition, we are trying to take all 4 of our kids to First Steps and Dynasty by years’ end. They need be armed with this knowledge to give them an advantage for the working world they are starting to face.
